Zach Bogosian's signing is, in the words of Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff, really a summer time like signing.
The young defenseman still has ongoing negotiations with the Jets since he has no arbitration rights.
For those Jets fans who are now suffering through the real dog days of summer until the puck drops October 9th, this is probably the only big news item left this summer besides the unveiling of the jerseys before the Young Stars Tournament in BC this September.
