Ex-Thrasher and one player who was interviewed about possibly playing in Winnipeg is now on his way to Sweden to play for Modo.
Rob Schremp's NHL career has been put on hold either temporarily or for good with his signing to Modo in Sweden.
Schremp was not given a contract offer from the Jets and was able to walk free as a UFA after scoring 26 points in 63 games in the NHL between the NY Islanders and Atlanta, including 4 points in 18 games with the Thrashers.
