According to Jetsnation.ca and TSN.ca, Jets star defenseman Dustin Byfuglien has been arrested in Minnesota on an account of suspcision he was operating a boat under the influence of alcohol.
According to TSN, "the sheriff's jail roster in Hennepin County says the 26-year-old defenceman was brought in just before midnight Wednesday night and released shortly after 2 a.m." (TSN via Canadian Press, 9/1/11)
Hennepin County covers the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. It may take up to 36 hours before we know if Byfulgien will be charged.
No mugshot was released of Byfulgien at the discretion of the county sheriff's office.
