Jets Sign Ladd, 5-Year, $22 Million Contract

The Winnipeg Jets have signed their captain Andrew Ladd to a long-term five year contract worth $22 million a year.

Ladd's cap hit will be $4 million this coming season and $4.5 million the next four seasons.

Ladd had career highs in goals and points last season with 29 goals and 59 points with Atlanta.
