Goal of the Year?

The goal of the year is being debated after the NHL season is over and the dog days of summer are upon us.

Ninteteen, soon to be, 20 year-old Eliezer Sherbatov, who was born in Israel, scored an unbelievable goal against Greece in a 26-2 whitewash.

Sherbatov, who moved to Canada at age two, has played in the QMJHL the last two seasons with both the Montreal Juniors and Baie-Comeau Drakkar. He has 45 points in 120 games over two seasons. He remains undrafted and unsigned.
